I am struggling with holding the power with my 3 year old son. He yells at me, hits me, throws stuff, etc. I feel like I have no control over my son. Frustration is beginning to take over. I know its the age but it gets a little much. Am I a bad mom for not having control? He tells me no. He is the kid you see in Wal Mart and swear your kids will never act that way. Its not always that bad but Monday, we went to walmart and I left before I even began shopping. I was the mom you look at and wonder how she can lose patience with a little kid. Now I know how. Gosh its so embarassing. Any advice? I love him so much and I don't want this post to come across wrong but my goodness its been hard lately.

Ash bash~ you are so cute! That little Jax really is probably just a typical little man but I totally know where you are coming from. The ONLY way I can go to the store now is if I let Connor take cars/toys into the store. Then we usually get a snack or a drink or I bring one from home! Probably not the best idea but it does seem to work for about 20 minutes!
Kids seriously are so hard sometimes and I have Paul to help me. (Not that Taylor doesn't help you) The days can seem so long and frustrating sometimes. Hang in there you are doing a fabulous job. Can't wait to see you. Love you tons. Tara
hey ash
i have seen this through my brothers little boy kenden. he tells us no and hits and gets mad, but have you tried time out. i know its silly, but if you put them in time out somewhere not fun they will start to listen. put him somewhere he can't play with toys or watch tv. hope this helps and good luck
